ORPHANAGE
Vishakhapatnam,India
OUTLINE
In India, there are orphans who have been living away from their parents because they lost parents or for some other reasons. Their lives are at risk every day, as they have no one to be cared. Some are involved in various crimes. Some are forced to be involved in crimes because of their hunger. Furthermore, some are into hard drugs just to get temporary pleasure.
In order to care those children and to let them become persons who have bright future, we, L. Angel International Volunteer Association established an orphanage in cooperation with the local rotary club in Vishakhapatnam City, India.
The orphanage is to be managed by the local rotary club, “Abuhaya”. Coordination with Abuhaya club, who fully knows about the current situation of the local area, enables us to provide detailed assistance to improve the current situation.
The orphanage is on the same ground as the nursery home for the aged street people in Modasabara Village, one hour driving by high way from Vishakhapatnam City, State of Andhra Pradesh.
This is only a first step. With your assistance, we would like to assist to provide with hopeful and safe place for children. Your further assistance and cooperation would be highly appreciated.
